Product Description

A brilliant container measuring just 8×8×7″ (20×20×18cm). Small and cheap enough to be used anywhere in your garden. Think about fence posts, decking posts, tree trunks, shed and garage walls, balustrades, in fact wherever you would position hanging baskets but not just one. Why not go for a grand cascade of trailing plants – Fuschias, Surfinias, Verbena, Geraniums, Petunias, Alyssum, Lobelia, Strawberies, Tumbling tomatoes, Herbs, and all out of reach of slugs.

They are available in black or clear plastic – we prefer clear so that you can visually check out the moisture level and the root condition.

You only need to maintain a small ‘puddle’ of water in the bottom of the nest because the plant access area is small in relation to the soil volume thus keeping evaporation to a minimum.

Just fill with compost 1"-2.5cm from the top of the front lip and water in.

Note: The ‘hanging’ wire is shaped to dissipate weight of the plant and compost. There is no drainage hole – just keep an eye on the water level and if it gets beyond a puddle, make a couple of slits in the bottom.
