As propagators go you can’t buy a more simple and inexpensive product. It measures just 8×8×8″ – 20×20×20cm, small enough for the windowsill and cheap enough to grow every type of plant on every windowsill in the house.
The propagator is made of clear plastic for the greenhouse effect; it also allows you to check out the moisture and root condition of your plants. There is no need for a drain hole, just maintain a shallow puddle of water 0.5/1cm in the bottom of the propagator. This keeps your house clean and tidy.
The self-seal strip can be completely closed in the early stages for maximum warmth and moisture retention and gradually opened depending on plant growth or the surrounding temperature.
When the plants are ready for pricking out, just cut off the top of the bag and remove to replant, or leave the plants to grow on in the bag.
If you are away caravaning during propagation time, take your seedlings with you; the Tetra Bag is very stable. It won’t fall over and its very shape allows for maximum root freedom.
